Common Sense Rock County kicked off its first session of the Citizen Civics Academy Sept. 20, 2022 with an opening night theme: “What is Community and How do You Build it to Serve the Common Good.”

The evening consisted of a panel discussion from a diverse selection of community leaders who shared their vision for what can make our community great, inclusive and representative as a gathering of people putting other people first.

More importantly, the panel discussed how this can be accomplished under a banner representing common sense, non-partisan practices that put people and community over partisan political causes.
